FIXED-GRIP CHAIRLIFT

Fixed-grip chairlift is the most widespread in Russia, compared to other types of ropeways.

On this type of ropeways, the chairs are motionlessly fixed to the carrying-hauling rope. The design of this type of lifts is adapted for operation in winter and summer seasons. To ensure the safety of passengers, the seats are equipped with protective frames.

For a more comfortable loading and increase in lifting speed, a loading carpet can be optionally installed at the bottom station.

The ropeway provides movement in one direction. However, in emergency mode or in other exceptional cases, it is possible to drive in the opposite direction at low speed.
